Our mission is to discover, inspire, encourage, and empower fashion talent worldwide. hiTechMODA does this by providing a professional, affordable runway of high-quality production, photography, video, hair, and makeup included in one cost.  We provide additional opportunities for publishing, public relations, billboard advertising, over-the-top media streaming services (OTT), and TV advertising at fair pricing. 

 

From established designers, indie designers, and small manufacturers to fashion consumers, hiTechMODA's goal is to make the fashion industry more inclusive, egalitarian, inspirational, and accessible to everyone.  The need for marketing and maintaining exposure is critical during these times.  hiTechMODA markets for you and your brand year-round.  Once in the hiTechMODA family, you are with us to stay.    

 

ReGen Runway, hiTechMODA’s sustainable segment, will concentrate on using the guidelines of the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) to provide the criteria for an inclusive and well-attended fashion show  (More information about the ReGenRunway) that continues to educate and highlight new thinking in fashion.

hiTechMODA shows are par excellence, professionally produced events providing an opportunity to sponsors, designers, and models looking to showcase their companies, collections, and talent on the runway. What you see is who we are and what you get.  Many production companies make promises they do not keep.  We respect our sponsors, designers, and models by valuing them as business partners and professionals. 

OUR VENUE

THE EDISON

Located in the heart of New York City, The Edison is an elegant and historic venue that exemplifies the restoration of New York Fashion Week to its glory days.

Originally opened in the 1930s as the Grand Ballroom of the adjacent Edison Hotel, this historical venue was home to the Broadway production of Oh! Calcutta for 13 years. The theatre closed in 1991 and reopened in 2008 after a multi-million dollar renovation that preserved its original flair and art deco style. It is an expansive, multi-level venue with a state-of-the-art sound system and intelligent lighting. It is the PERFECT place to celebrate our return to New York with our production: Lights Up with The Theatre of Fashion!

OUR COMMITMENT TO FIGHTING COVID-19. 

 

We continue to monitor the world and New York City during the Covid-19 pandemic to ensure the safety and health of all. We are having smaller shows with fewer designers, models, and audiences to maximize social distancing. Face masks will be worn at all times with the exception of models in hair and makeup (until dried), and on the runway, unless a mask is a part of the designer's collection.

 

Access backstage is limited to essential staff, designers, and models. We will adhere to the strictest safety protocols, sanitation, and social distancing guidelines in accordance with Federal, NY State, and City regulations, allowing essential teams to support designer productions in a safe, comfortable production environment.

OUR DEMOGRAPHICS

hiTechMODA's primary market is females 25-55 years of age, middle to upper income throughout the United States. Our international markets include Great Britain, Europe, Canada, Mexico, Latin America, Australia, Asia, and growing!  

 

NYFW hiTechMODA's past shows created a social media influence that exceeded 750,000 and continues to grow. Our Season Four production, which took place in New York City during NYFW, September 12, 2020, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, was successfully produced under stringent COVID-19 guidelines and streamed live to multiple thousands.  hiTechMODA was the only independent producer to produce a live fashion show and steam live from NYC during September 2020. As a result, we were picked up by over 60 national and international media outlets and featured in the prestigious Page 6 of the New York Post.

 

Whether our runways are watched by a live audience in a venue, or live over the internet, they are the beginning for our sponsors, designers, and models as we promote before, during, and after all our events.

DEMAND FOR EXPOSURE

Most designers at NYFW spend upwards of $100,000 per show.  With costs escalating and the need for runway events to showcase designers, the demand for independent public shows arose.  These shows have filled a void and have done so to sell-out crowds and an average ticket price of $45.

hiTechMODA’s September 2018, 2019, and February 2020, and February 2021 show sold out weeks in advance. Our Season Four production streamed live to multiple thousands.  Our models were scouted by agencies right off the runway, and our designers made connections within the industry that allows them to increase exposure and sales. hiTechMODA actively promotes our designers, both before and after the event, via our website and social media.

PER DESIGNER FOR 15 LOOKS

  • Collections must be ready-to-wear, couture, costume, sustainable, streetwear, or accessory. 

  • Each collection must be current merchandise no older than 3 years 

  • The designers' collection must be ready 10 days before the hiTechMODA event

  • Fees must be paid in full 30 days prior event (payment options available)

  • Must meet hiTechMODA model casting/fitting schedule (if applicable)

  • Provide names of backstage assistance (min 2) 

  • Provide marketing materials (profile, website, social media handles, hires logo)

  • Require staff and brand models to register and sign hiTechMODA liability release.

 

APPLICATION PROCESS

Designers must apply and include sample photos or social media, a website with examples of the collection as requested during the process. Upon approval, you will receive an invitation to show via email from opportunity@hitechmoda.com or hitechmoda@gmail.com with associated fees and instructions on completing the registration and making your deposit.

To ensure a smooth and trouble-free show, designers must agree to abide by the hiTechMODA advisory board and board of directors' rules and regulations.
