Designer Melanie Caballero was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to Puerto Rico at 13. Naturally, being a creative soul has been embedded in her family genes as she has always admired the many talents in her family. In 1982, she earned a bachelor's degree in fashion design, where she advanced her knowledge of so many things evident in the collections she designs today.

While Caballero was in school, she successfully owned a boutique in Puerto Rico until she moved to Orlando in 1990. Melanie Caballero has always upheld her family values of working hard to achieve her goals which influenced her desire to return back to receive a degree in interior design in 2004. Designer Melanie Caballero began to make a name for herself through the years in her career as she continued to raise her family.

In 2013, she relocated to Grove Town, Georgia, where, using just a small sewing machine, she slowly began building her clientele, preserving and staying true to her passion. She is a prime example of hard work truly paying off. Designer Melanie Caballero has been invited to countless fashion shows to present while having her collections published in many elite magazines. Her greatest achievement thus far is presenting in NYFW for 5 seasons; each is a different experience that keeps her inspired. Caballero is humbled every time as she always challenges herself to push to higher levels in fashion.

It’s safe to say that her collections always tell a story as she incorporates her love for art and fashion trends inspired by the Victorian time period. It’s not hard to spot an Ashley Victorian gown as the proof is in the intricate details; specifically, mixing old fabrics and patterns is her signature trademark, making her collections unique and noticeable.

When Melanie is not designing for the runway, she services many memorable events for her clients by designing timeless custom pieces.
