Elaine (Lainy) Gold has been designing fashion since the age of 11. Her passion as an artist started at such a young age, when, at eight years old, she received a camera as a gift. She could not put it down and started constructing her clothes and taking photos. She would doodle and create collages from cutting pictures from catalogs. As a teen, the walls of her room displayed magazine tear sheets. She made clothes from old sheets and curtains. (Scarlett O'Hara has nothing on Lainy!) A natural-born artist, Lainy, just started her new brand of swimwear, MANGO BEACH SWIMWEAR. She will showcase her first collection for this new brand in Orlando Swim Week. This collection, MANGO, is inspired by a Mango tree, which then became her vision for MANGO BEACH SWIMWEAR.

Although she designed swimwear from a very young age, she also created many other collections, from Gowns to Menswear to Kids. Since moving to Florida from NJ/NY, her focus is swim and beachwear. She began designing swimwear for fitness models and Hawaii Tropic Competitions in the 90,s and, now living in a sub-tropical location, thought, "What better way to celebrate by creating a whole new Brand?" MANGO BEACH SWIMWEAR is very colorful and fun; created during the pandemic, with many hand-painted denim pieces. Everything is hand-made by Lainy herself.
