VanderRose is a designer brand that specializes in creating gowns. VanderRose includes photography and custom-designed gowns used in photography and special events. Their gowns are made mostly of tulle with floral appliqué and lace embellishment that are offered in various colors with extended trains.

About the Designer
Sarah Navarre is the designer of VanderRose and is a fine art/portrait photographer. Sarah resides in Salt Lake City, Utah. She is creative and has a vivid imagination, allowing her to acquire inspiration through myths, fairytales, nature, and the human experience. She is an avid art historian and has a fondness for the Hellenistic art of Ancient Greece because it is a style of art where a moment in time is captured compared to a timeless, still pose. She creates gowns in a fantasy setting because it is beautiful and because she wants to create art that has an emotional connection. She wants the emotion to display where true beauty is found. Most of her design inspiration comes from her garden, which she calls an "Enchanted Cottage," She often uses it as the setting for her photography.

The Collection
The Goddess Collection - Persephone - Spring 2023
The inspiration behind the Goddess Collection: Persephone, Spring 2023, is based upon the Greek myth and legends surrounding her unique story. In her story, she is required to spend six months of the year in the underworld with Hades. While she is gone, the earth turns to winter with sadness. She is known to many as the goddess of Spring because she returns to her mother each Spring, and the earth returns to blooming flowers and life. This collection includes gowns in colors of Spring and darker shades transitioning from deeper winter colors, especially in colors of deep reds and purples similar to pomegranate seeds as Persephone was found to have eaten in the underworld. This collection embraces goddesses' power and strength and pays homage to their individual stories and timeless beauty. VandeRose looks forward to bringing this collection to the runway!
